Because of your generosity at the end of last year, we were able to purchase technology to process credit card transactions in 2023! This capability has streamlined the experience for both growers and medicine makers.
And it’s that time again!
As 2023 draws to a close, we are once again launching our year end fundraising drive with a goal of $7,000.
Your continued support makes it possible for us to expand our educational events, and our capacity through the Sonoma County Herb Exchange - a venue that offers top notch organic medicinal herbs for makers while working with local growers to support their viability on the farm and in the marketplace.
The Sonoma County Herb Exchange also offers an internship where budding herbalists learn how to harvest for medicinal efficacy, what herbs look, smell, and taste like to make potent medicine, and how to run a proper medicinal herb dry room. This is an incredible free opportunity to step into the world of herbalism.
Going into 2024, we are focused on two capacity building goals:
1. Purchase a membership management platform which will allow us to increase our revenue by effectively tracking and renewing memberships.
2. More deeply invest in our seasonal interns by providing them two free educational outings, offering them free access to select events, and holding private learning sessions with medicine makers and growers.
In this moment, where things can feel so very overwhelming in the world, it is important to return to what nourishes, inspires, and grows our power for good.
