Herb Association Updates
A seasonal, hands-on herbal education series
The Sonoma County Herb Association / Exchange is thrilled to announce a new herbal class series beginning this February!
We are over the moon to be gathering in person once again and sharing our love of herbs and the plant world with the community. We would love for you to join us!
Classes will be held in the Meeting Barn at Permaculture Artisans in Sebastopol on the third Wednesday of each month, from 6–8 pm.
Please register in advance to save your spot.
Sliding scale: $15–$40
These classes are open to everyone — no membership required!
Equinox Appeal: Support Our Mission
We are reaching out this Autumnal Equinox with an urgent appeal for donations.
Here at the Sonoma County Herb Association, we work diligently to make sure that our growers get a fair price, and that our buyers can afford to purchase medicine here. That commitment means that herbs are local, top quality, and that we are creating a venue to continuously reinvest in our own community.

Spring Herb Walk
We had such a fabulous day on Sunday at the California School of Herbal Studies! Much gratitude to them for lending us their beautiful gardens and many thanks to David Hoffmann and Mitcho Thompson for being our tour guides. Our day was filled with laughter, folklore, plant identification and a sharing of deep knowledge and appreciation for the herbs that we encountered. Thank you to all that came out to our (sold out!) Spring Herb Walk and helped support the Sonoma County Herb Association and Exchange!
March 2024:
